There's a lot of talent coming out of the ol' home town of Memphis, TN... And here you thought Elvis was the only cool thing that came outta there...
Take for instance, Adam Shaw's Bloodstream from Image Comics! It's been a long time coming, but finally Adam has his own series. Go buy this comic or he'll be sad.
You should also look into Antone Wade's self-published Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa. Antone won't cry if you don't buy his book, but he does know the martial arts. Proceed at your own risk.
Then there's Soul of a Samurai by Will Dixon. Hey what's with all the Memphians at Image? Weird...
Truth is, there's actually too much talent coming out of M-town to list here right now. I didn't even mention Greg Cravens, artist of the incredibly funny syndicated comic strip, The Buckets. How could not mention him?
