Ch-ch-ch-changes...
I did two pages in Countdown 37 last week. Could you guess which ones? if not SPOILER ALERT!
I wanted to show how sometimes things get changed between the drawing and the finished product. In this case, the editor wanted the last page to be just extreme and in your face, so they cropped in closer on the shot I drew and changed quite a bit on Supes' expression.

Obviously, I prefer my original, but these things happen. I thought it would be a pretty cool thing to show the contrast between the two for some "behind the scenes" stuff.

OK so not to be a total suck up, here goes. I prefer your original. The face on Kent in the finished version is not great. I also think the wider shot gives a better sense of movement.
The face on the printed version looks totally different... I prefer the pencils waaaay more... but I'm not DC...

Yeah, that sucks that they would change it, especially for the worse. Maybe Clark has a bite of forgetfulness, like the kiss he laid on Lois back in Superman II...
I certainly like your version better. The face was changed drastically. You do great work and I'm looking forward to picking up All New Atom.
why'd they make the change?
