Goodbye Divebar
Looks like I'm gonna have to say "so long" to the good folks at Divebar. I had some fun, but overall, it was essentially too much responsibility on top of my already insane workload.
Now assuredly they'll all go on to mega-stardom and I will become the Pete Best of Alt Country Rock.
Oh well, at least I'll be the guy on the Behind the Music in 20 years who doesn't have a drug addiction and didn't lose all my money.
Anyways, here's the last show (with me)
Thursday, August 5th
DIVEBAR
w/ Nick Peraino & Blue Moon, The Bad Vibes
@ THE ELBO ROOM
2871 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago
(1 block N of Diversey on Lincoln)
9 pm show. $5. 21+.

How SAD that you have to give up being in your band!! :-(
'sallright... I did the same thing in college... Gave up music to focus on art. Of course it was easier then because the band SUCKED... :)
